Features
Stronger than Regular Cable, yet Highly Flexible
Constructed with a buffered fiber surrounded by a tight-buffered fiber, a helical stainless steel armored tube, a stainless steel wire mesh, a layer of kevlar yarn and TPU outer jacket to protect fibers from physical damage and provide strain relief.

Built of Durable TPU for Deployment in Outdoor Settings
TPU cables are water, abrasion resistance and can be deployed in outdoor settings without the need for rigid conduits.

Convenient Direct Burial & Durable Conduits Applications
There are two main outdoor applications for industrial cables. One is to directly bury them underground to reduce wiring costs, and the other is to put them in conduits for greater durability.

Ideal for Various Harsh Installation Environments
Ideal for use in indoor workplaces to outdoor construction sites where extreme environmental conditions are present.

Two Polish Types for Various Signal Sensitivity Demands
The fiber endfaces of UPC and APC result in different signal losses. With an 8° angled endface, APC
is more suitable for high precision fiber optic signal applications.

Industrial Cable Connectors for Outdoor Application
Industrial cable connectors can provide good protection for the connection when be used in a water, dust, and corrosion environment.

Breakout Types for Optimizing Cable Routing
Four different breakout configurations meet your various needs. Please note that the breakout length is 0.3m by default instead of 0.5m when the total cable length is not more than 3m.

FAQ
1. What is an industrial armored fiber patch cable?
An armored fiber patch cable embeds the fiber inside a stainless steel armor tube and protects it with a rugged TPU outer jacket. Compared with standard PVC patch cords, it offers much higher crush resistance, tensile strength, and protection against impact, rodents and abrasion, making it ideal for harsh industrial and outdoor environments.
2. What fiber and connector options are available?
Standard is single-mode OS2 (G.652D, or bend-insensitive G.657A2), with 1–24 fibers. Connector types include LC, SC, ST, FC, LSH (E2000), MTP/MPO, IP67 waterproof, ODC and YZC military connectors, in UPC or APC polish. Hybrid assemblies (different connectors on each end) are also supported.
3. Why choose a TPU outer jacket?
TPU delivers excellent abrasion, oil, chemical and UV resistance, together with good low-temperature flexibility and flame retardancy. It keeps the cable flexible while protecting it from cutting, chemicals and weather — the right choice for industrial automation, outdoor and mobile applications.
4. What is the difference between UPC and APC polishing?
UPC (Ultra Physical Contact) provides return loss ≥ 50 dB and suits general telecom applications. APC (Angled Physical Contact, 8°) provides return loss ≥ 60 dB with lower back reflection, required for PON, RFoG and high-bit-rate systems. Note: green APC connectors are NOT compatible with blue UPC ones.
5. What environments can this cable be used in?
Data centers, industrial control cabinets, outdoor FTTA/FTTH, mining, oil & gas, railway, marine and any harsh environment where standard patch cords are easily damaged. IP67/ODC/YZC connector options add waterproof and dustproof performance for outdoor terminations.
6. Is the cable bend-insensitive?
Yes. We can supply G.657A1/A2 bend-insensitive fiber, allowing tighter bends (down to 7.5–10 mm bend radius) with minimal signal loss — critical when routing in confined cabinets and cable trays.
7. What is the MOQ and can we customize? Standard MOQ is typically 100 pcs, with small trial orders accepted. Full OEM/ODM customization available: fiber count, length, connector type/polish, cable color, armor type (steel tube / interlocking), jacket material, and logo printing on cable and packaging.
8. What is the operating temperature range?
-40 °C ~ +85 °C, with wider industrial ranges available on request. TPU stays flexible at low temperature and resists aging under high temperature, UV and humidity.
9. How is quality controlled?
100% of cables are tested for insertion loss and return loss before shipment. We are ISO 9001 certified, products comply with RoHS, and test reports for fiber, connector and jacket materials can be provided upon request.
10. What about packaging and delivery?
Cables are coiled on spools or packed in protective export cartons to avoid kinking. Sample lead time: 3–5 working days; mass production: 7–15 working days depending on quantity. Sea, air and express shipping are all available with tracking.
