It is a duplex armored patch cable with LC UPC to LC UPC connectors, containing 2 single-mode OS2 fibers. Each fiber is protected by a stainless steel armor tube and a TPU outer jacket, delivering far higher crush, pull, and impact resistance than standard PVC duplex patch cords for harsh industrial environments.
2. Why duplex LC UPC for this cable?
Duplex LC is the standard interface for bidirectional and dual-fiber transmission (e.g., GBIC/SFP/QSFP transceivers, media converters). UPC polish (blue boot) offers return loss ≥ 50 dB, ideal for general telecom, industrial Ethernet, and data center patching.
3. What makes the TPU jacket better than PVC?
TPU provides superior abrasion, oil, chemical, and UV resistance plus low-temperature flexibility and flame retardancy.
