Features

Stronger than Regular Cable, yet Highly Flexible

Constructed with a buffered fiber surrounded by a helical stainless steel armor, a layer of kevlar yarn, braiding and TPU outer jacket to protect fibers from physical damage and provide strain relief.

Built of Durable TPU for Deployment in Outdoor Settings

TPU cables are water, abrasion resistance and can be deployed in outdoor settings without the need for rigid conduits.

Convenient Direct Burial & Durable Conduits Applications

Connecting the networks of two buildings through an underground conduit or direct burial.

Ideal for Various Harsh Installation Environments

Ideal for use in indoor workplaces to outdoor construction sites where extreme environmental conditions are present.

FAQ

1. What is this simplex industrial armored fiber patch cable?

It is a simplex armored patch cable with LC UPC to LC UPC connectors, containing 1 single-mode OS2 fiber. The fiber is protected by a stainless steel armor tube and a rugged TPU outer jacket, giving it much higher tensile strength, crush resistance and rodent protection than standard PVC simplex patch cords.

2. Why simplex LC UPC?

Simplex LC is the standard interface for single-fiber transmission such as 1G/10G BiDi optics, WDM, PON, sensors and test equipment. UPC polish (blue boot) provides return loss ≥ 50 dB, suitable for general telecom, industrial Ethernet and data center patching.

3. What makes the armored design better for outdoor and industrial use?

The steel armor tube provides strong tensile strength and strong pressure resistance while protecting the fiber from rodents, impact and crushing. Combined with the oil-resistant, wear-resistant TPU jacket, the cable can serve 3-5 years under long-term outdoor exposure or rain — far longer than unarmored patch cords.

4. Can it be used in underground conduit or direct burial?

Yes. This armored cable is specifically suited to connecting the networks of two buildings through underground conduit or direct burial. The steel armor and TPU jacket withstand soil pressure, moisture and rodent attack. For direct-burial projects, please confirm the required length and burial conditions so we can recommend the right configuration.

5. What is the difference between UPC and APC polishing?

UPC (Ultra Physical Contact, blue boot) provides return loss ≥ 50 dB and suits general telecom and industrial patching. APC (Angled Physical Contact, green boot) provides return loss ≥ 60 dB and is required for PON, RFoG and high-bit-rate systems. Note: green APC connectors are NOT compatible with blue UPC ones.

6. Can we buy wholesale with bulk pricing?

Yes. We are a factory-direct manufacturer, and wholesale pricing is available for bulk orders. Please send your quantity and target price for a quotation — volume orders receive better unit pricing.

7. What is the MOQ and are trial orders accepted?

The standard MOQ is typically 100 pcs, and small trial orders are accepted for first-time buyers so you can evaluate quality and performance before placing bulk orders.

8. Do you support OEM/ODM customization?

Yes. OEM/ODM services include custom length, cable color, connector type or polish, fiber count, logo printing on cable, boot and packaging, plus private-label branding for distributors and system integrators.

9. Is the cable flexible and bending resistant?

Yes. The cable combines strong protection with good flexibility, and G.657A1/A2 bend-insensitive fiber is optional for tighter bends (down to 7.5–10 mm bend radius) with minimal loss — critical when routing inside confined cabinets, conduit and trays.

10. How is quality controlled, and what is the delivery time?

100% of cables are tested for insertion and return loss before shipment. We are ISO 9001 certified, products comply with RoHS, and material test reports can be provided. Sample lead time: 3–5 working days; mass production: 7–15 working days depending on quantity. Sea, air and express shipping available with tracking.
